After Pho Hung and Golden Lake (Springvale Central), it was time for a Banh Mi from Minh Duc Bakery (part 3 of 7 of our Springvale blitz).
This is the place that our Vietnamese friends recommend for authentic Banh Mi. We were met with chaos right from the start. There was no apparent system or queue to place your order. Queue jumping seemed to be the name of the game here.
The Banh Mi itself was fairly ordinary. It tasted flat – there were not enough pickled vegetables. Not sure if we will be returning here in the future. Chaos is not our thing.
After all that food, we needed to wash it down with some bubble tea so off we went to Kung Fu Tea, just around the corner for part 4 of our Springvale journey.
