Got some roast duck and BBQ pork takeaway, some customer bought out all the roast pork. Sad face.
Unfortunately I can’t say this is my favourite spot for roast meats. The roast duck is very lean and muscular, I love a good ratio of fat to meat and this did not make the grade. It came with some duck sauce (sauce inside the duck to marinate it) and chilli oil, mild and mild. It was also missing the duck neck which a lot of shops auto include, I live nibbling on those!
The BBQ pork again was lean. I opted for the optional sweet sauce they pour on top of it but really, missing the fat. Fat is flavour. I ended up using it for fried rice.
It’s a popular spot for roast meats but did not tickle me. My parents however who are more health conscious occasionally rotate shops, this being one of them.
