More a 3.5. This place is a hit and miss. Some of the stuff are prepared so they might not be as fresh. The Tea egg was so so salty. The glutinous balls are nice and chewy with peanut and sesame fillings, drenched in a light ginger soup. Would be better if the sweet soup was more dense. The cantaloupe hot milk tea is really nice though. The mixed bowl of grass jelly, taro and sweet potato balls, cream, crushed ice was pretty nice. Except the white pearls were stuck together. The hot desserts are like traditional HK ones which were Ok ish. e.g. black sesame dessert, peanut dessert, but a bit like the packet ones.

Dessert story was one of the first Asian style dessert parlours that brought the delightful fresh, chewy and icy items to our shores. I fell head over heels for their taro balls and I continue to enjoy the pleasurable textures as well as tastes of their various offerings. Service is heavily dependent on how busy they are but is overall friendly and efficient.

Love how spacious this place is, lovely customer service! Would avoid here on weekends because it gets jam packed. Yummy food and desserts! Coming here again isnt an issue at all. Really want to try the stone grill because everyone raves about it but im positive it lives up to the hype
