Generous toppings, tasty sauces and a nice buttery crusty/soft warm freshly baked bread-y type of base, what more could you ask for?! Il pads is always our go to pizza hookup in St. Albans and they never disappoint. I will say though, at times their customer service is not at a fine dining restaurant level but please remember that at the end of the day, you’re ordering a pizza (most likely) and all these hard working human beings are just doing their job. If you want above and beyond customer service to be part of the price you pay then go and find yourself somewhere that does some above and beyond fine dining. If you’re after a delicious pizza that ticks all the boxes, give this place a go and enjoy.
THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS. Just given them 1 so that it shows at the top…! Pathetic customer service. The lady who served and said she is the so called MANAGER was so rude and ill mannered. I wish i could post her photo so that she never gets to work in customer service ever. I ordered a pasta for dinner and upon eating it the chicken and mushrooms were overcooked and few were burnt. I thought that could be just a piece or two that are burnt so ate the pasta a bit more hoping the whole pasta wouldnt taste that bad. But i just couldnt eat it… it tasted pathetic. I called them back and said that the pasta is not good in taste, the chicken smells bad and is burnt as well. I REQUESTED her to do something about it. Firstly, she refused to send anybody for pickup and on telling her I cant come she said you keep the remaining pasta ready and i will send someone to pick it up and meanwhile i will get anothet pasta ready for you and the second driver will deliver it to you.
After a while, i get a call from the same lady and she said that you ate some pasta so we cannot refund or send another pasta. I asked her name over the phone and she gave an attitude and said if u need my name I wont give it over the phone you come here and take it. I said what kind of attitude are you showing to the customer who is just requesting you to change the burnt pasta you served in the first place.? She said you do whatever you feel like I wont refund or exchange.
At 10pm, I had to go to that place and ask for her name because I was so upset with the way she spoke to me. When I reached there, she started shouting at the top of her voice and argued with me like anything. It wasnt about $25. It was about getting home late from work expecting to have dinner that is good and not burnt and upon complaining about something that was wrong, getting to hear such things.
I have her photo and a video as an evidence that my brother made to show her attitude to the owner.
It is sad that because of such workers and managers in the business the owners lose their clients and market value.
If the owner is reading this,
Dear Owner,
Kindly change your staff or else the day wont be far that you will have nobody entering your place.
Hope you take an action upon reading this ASAP.

After having placed an order for pizzas and been told theyd be delivered in 45 minutes, I called them an hour after placing the order to have been told that they have only just left. If I had been told initially that the wait would be longer, I would have understood or made other arrangements, but as I was told it would be 45 minutes, we decided to place the order.
Ive been going here since I discovered it 13 years ago in my uni days and its probably been my go to pizza place in Melbourne since. Quality pizzas and service all the time and good prices!
Service is pathetic very rude staff and very unprofessional. Wont be back any time soon after my last experience when my pizzas were not ready on time over an hour, so many staff just sitting around doing nothing makes no sense.
This shop is always my favourite pizza shop around the St Albans area.
There are large variety selections of pizzas, pasta and other meals and the price are very competitive.
However I do feel the pizzas were still good but not as good as before from my recent visits. Maybe this Is caused a change of ownership or staff or both.
The pizzas always have decent amount topping and well cooked from the oven, but sometimes I found the sauce can be lacking in certain area of the pizza.
The service were good and timely. Lack of parking in front so have to try the side streets or park in front of the local Woolworth.
The seating area is relatively small, but similar to most pizza shops.
