This is the best place in the western suburbs for pho!!! It may be abit hard to get to as there limited parking spots but its worth it. I ordered the chicken pho special with the lot and for $14 for a large it was packed with a lot beef and chicken. Highly recommended staff is really nice.

Pho ngon really lives up to its name. For those unaware, Vietnamese to english translation is ‘good tasting pho’ and this place sure delivers. Situated in a hive of similar restaurants within St Albans, it was nice to be greeted by the evidently family operated establishment as a young girl helping her mum or visiting for the day, showed us to our table and prepared everything for us (adorable).

Ordering the beef special and chicken pho, the service was very authentic and even came with our favourite side of complimentary pickled onions! Expect very warm, Vietnamese service here better than others. The pho was amazing simply put. The broth was rich with flavour and tender in taste, the noodles tasting authentic, and the beef was so plentiful and delicious, the perfect amount of balance between skin and meat. Definitely one of the better beef pho I have had. Emily’s chicken pho had a delicious broth, just note the pieces were more like shredded chicken, albeit still great in taste.

A hidden gem nonetheless and a pho restaurant we would recommend. Authentic and delicious pho at a great value Price!

If you want a hearty bowl of pho or if you just need to satisfy your pho craving. This is the place to go! The pho taste is consistent everytime, a perfect blend of sweet and salty. All the necessary pho condiments are supplied and the owners are extremely sweet.

For anyone who is extra hungry I recommend the large. These bowls are huge and will definitely leave you in a pho coma.

    Recommended dish: Pho dac biet

I had pho here with few friends the other night. We didnt enjoy the food at all. I had pho myself and it tasted nothing like Pho.Service was rude and not worth the wait. Wouldnt come back again.

Great pho! Noodle dishes have a wide range of vegetables rather than just big chunks of bok choy like the other places. Presentation is great. Taste is lovely and you can see a lot of care goes into the dishes. Nice to go somewhere where you can have a leisurely meal and not feel like you’re going to get rushed out of the place.

‘Ngon’ means delicious in Vietnamese however, this restaurant’s Pho really disappoints me. it just doesn’t taste good. I have tried it twice. once when I was dining in & the second time was when my friend ordered takeaway without me knowing it was from Pho Ngon. The soup was not nice, bland, no flavour. Do yourself a favor and go to Pho Kim Long (Alfrieda St) if you want your money’s worth.
