Where has this place been all my life? Being on Alfrieda Street it is easy to miss this store considering all the delicious Vietnamese restaurants and bakeries that dominate this street. I can honestly say this vietnamese take away/food on the go store is like my home away from home. It is nothing fancy like what the restaurants offer but when I’m working and forget my lunch, coming here is like as if mum has cooked and delivered my food for me. They offer authentic home style cooked Vietnamese food on the go. they have all my favorites like thit nuong, thit kho, canh thit ba roi, mi xao and they even have the coconut desserts that I have been eyeing for a couple of days now. Maybe I have a soft spot for this place because they cook it the way my mum would, but it really hits home for me. It didn’t bother me that the food didn’t match the menu because everything they have there is what I love.
