Great place for catching up with friends and get that urgent Vietnamese craving satisfied. The noodles I had (I dont what it is called in English) were soupless egg noodles with a combination seafood! The sauce was really sweet and full of msg but the amount of meat and vegetables were reasonable and well balanced. Service could be way better!
One of the best pho I tasted in Melbourne. The broth have deep flavours and tasty. The portion also very generous. The dry noodles are a little disappointing compared to the pho. Noodles are too chewy (undercooked) and they messed up our order but didn’t admit it.
I have been coming here for the Bun bo hue for many years now and there isn’t much other places that can compare. Serving is big and budget friendly; each bowl loaded with beef and pork and a large plate of greens. The soup is well seasoned and not too spicy but if you like yours spicy there are plenty of fresh chilli and chilli oil on the table. We’ve tried the broken rice and a few other dishes here in the past, the other restaurants in the vacinity are a better choice. But for BBH, Song Huong is doing it right service aside.
