Tried the Roast of the Day, which today was lamb. The lamb was tender, flavoursome, and covered with good tasting gravy. As well there was plenty of fresh and roast vegetables cooked perfectly. Finished off with with a home made apple and rhubarb tart tastefully served with ice-cream, cream and a strawberry. A very pleasant and generous meal, and at a very reasonable price. To top it off the service was very friendly, prompt and helpful. Looking forward to the next visit there.
Only went for an afternoon drink and snack.Ordered wedges ,standard commercial battered wedges. They were piping hot and it was a huge serve . Well worth it. Staff at gaming bar was fantastic chatty and we soon starting to have digs at each other jokingly. Sports bar staff were very pleasant.
Didnt ever think about going to St Albans Hotel for dinner. To my surprise – the food was amazing. What a hidden gem. Steaks were cooked to exact medium rare. Salad was delicious. And chips were good. Entree of Zucchini Soup was made to perfection.
Not only that but everything for a bargain. I could not believe it. Definitely going back for more!
Brilliant Night. Heard the meals at st albans hotel were great so we headed in there on a tuesday night steak night $12 awesome steak great service then got told wednesday nights were half price hahaha so we came back for half price wednesday BRILIIANt service brilliant food amazing staff, the girls that were on didnt miss a beat and the room was packed, always smilling never anything to much , just a brilliant experience and we went in without a boking and we didnt have to wait , they made up a table for us straight away , the two ladies that were on just worked together so well, followed each other like they were very professional
we will be back next week. and ever week after that

Great pub food, fantastic service. I had chicken & sweet corn soup with entree garlic prawns my friend had the ribeye. Good price for the quality.
The chef even made time to asked us how our meals were. We will return.
Nice place good food fast service and very nice with babies and children lady went out of her way to get us a table where the sun wouldn’t be in our daughters eyes and gave us a toy from behind the counter for her to play with! Go there often!
