Best pork rolls in St. Albans! Hands down! Try it you will not regret it. It is always busy which tells you something straight away! The Vietnamese iced Coffees are also very nice too.

Another week, another Banh Mi courtesy of St Albans, a hub of Asian cuisines for great prices. Today we picked up a classic bread roll at Thy’s Sandwiches, a place that we have yet to try and we could say it was definitely good.

The ingredients and meats were fresh, whilst the bread was noticeably softer and easier to eat than most bread rolls we have had. The serving of patay was also generous, notable throughout the end of the roll.

An overall good Banh Mi, as most places are, offering great value and taste. Can rarely go wrong from an establishment that offers genuine Banh Mi for genuine prices (Looking at you Bag’et!). Recommend a visit if you are looking for an authentic and genuine banh mi!

    Review:
Probably the best banh mi in town, I grew up eating banh mi and never really loved or appreciated it. But this roasted pork banh mi changed my life..I love the contrast of the fresh vegetables, crispy pork crackling and succulent pork meat and then that creamy sauce thats paired with it, it is simply divine. With a extra pairing of fresh Chili and a dash of soy sauce it makes the perfect quick and delicious lunch!! Their bread it crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not to mention that the banh mi was still slightly warm. 🙂
