I was told the pasta there are fantastic so gave them a try and was very disappointed, I had the penne salami in tomatoe sauce and it was so sweet, makes you wonder how much sugar is in there or did they got it mixed up with the salt??. I decided to give them another chance and tried the chicken mushroom in creamy sauce, it was better but it was extremely oily! I would not recommend their pastas at all.
Ordered a take away latte which was nice but not as strong as I’d normally like. There’s not much of a cafe vibe on Wellington St and this place is usually busy with people eating in or having coffee.
Favourite place in the area for a perfect wrap, sandwich or quick lunch. It’s my go to place for lunch during the work week. Lovely friendly faces behind the counter too.
Friendly staff, best brekky food and coffee. I go here every morning with my partner and their standards just get better and better. I highly recommend the BLAT or avocado feta sandwiches.
Nice position, cosy seating, coffee ok, outdoor toilet which isn’t too bad – but NO wifi. Apparently not working, but seems from the scrunched embarrassed face of the waitress that it never works. I would have stayed to try the food if I’d been connected to the interwebs
Very bad customer service! Was waiting over 30 minutes for my order, just to be told that they ‘forgot’ about my food!! But this is not the end, I went back the week after (giving them another chance), specifically telling the same girl to please ensure that my order gets done correctly and guess what ? She gives me my food I open the bag and half of the food I ordered was missing.
Very, very disappointed! I was a loyal customer but this doesn’t seem to matter at this cafe as they didn’t really care about my situation.
Burnt croissant. I ordered a toasted croissant take away and when i opened the bag it was totally burnt and was pretty inedible – wont be going back thats for sure!
