I asked the cashier what she recommended out of the custard cheesecake and the raspberry pastry and she told me they were both $7.50. Clearly she didnt any of the cakes there. I brought the pastry and it tasted old and the pastry was very dense and heavy. Very disappointing.
Europa Cake Shop was a rather nice place for a hang out but the desserts were pretty disappointing; their (plum) donut was tough, dry and yeasty, and the tarts were average and stale. It was great as a tourist attraction (as were other cake shops along the street) due to its strategic location but not as a food destination.
We had the Vanilla Cannelloni with fruits which was good but I had expected fruits inside as well. and the Passion Fruit chili macaron. Lovedddd the macaron.
The staff was sweet.
