Tried this place for the first time takeaway and unfortunately it will be the last. It wasnt terrible but Ive had better vermicelli salad/bun before. The beef is so chewy and the lemongrass flavour is quite weak and more like marinated stewed meat. Whatever sauce they use for meat overpowered the nuoc cham. It comes with thick rice noodles so more like a beef stirfry with noodles rather than a nice refreshing bun salad.
This is a cute and inexpensive Vietnamese restaurants! If you are looking for a cheap eat with friends and quality food, this is the place for you! I tried both the pho and the bun… it is as good, if not better as the ones that can be found on Victoria street in Richmond. Also an added bonus, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
I recommend the rice paper rolls and the pandan tea!

Gud Pho You is a Vietnamese cafe on Fitzroy street. They have great food deals shown on a sign out the front. Unfortunately the price has recently gone up a few dollars but its still relatively cheap. I usually get the Bahn Mi and coffee but there are many other deals. Overall, good food and great value for money.
