Amazing!! I got this as an ubereats order today. Loved everything. Even with the bumped up ubereats prices, it’s still amazing value. The sushi burgers were fresh and delicious, the gyoza was warm and yummy, the cheesecake was incredible. This is my new favourite Japanese place!!! I can’t wait to eat in!!! I’ll be taking friends and family here for sure. Thanks guys.
3.5Looking up Zomato for new places around work to grab some early lunch (well, technically brunch since I skipped breakfast that morning), this one suited my purpose perfectly with an opening time of 11am.Taking over the spot once occupied by Mammy’s Boy, the venue has undergone a minor revamp and it is cheerful and bright.Unfamiliar with their menu, the friendly young man behind the counter navigated me through it and the majority of items are no more than $6.80 with the exception of the Build Your Own Bento Box at $14.80.The bento comes with default seaweed salad, spring rolls and endamame, plus an item each from the Gyoza and Don section where I picked the Pork Gyozas and Curry Chicken Katsu Don, adding on a side of Squid Salad.Reluctantly having to share my gyozas with my curious, beady-eyed, hovering colleagues, we ended up agreeing that they were pretty good! The Squid Salad on the other hand could’ve done away with less dressing as it overwhelmed the squid. The chicken in the Curry Katsu Don was cooked perfectly, but a little more of that curry sauce with a thicker consistency in there and they would’ve nailed it.Impressed with the gyozas, one of my colleagues requested to tag along next time and he ordered the prawn ones which were just as good. Our Chicken Karaage was crispy and succulent, but the Takoyaki can use a bit more work on the texture.Recognising me from my initial visit, the staff were lovely enough to throw in a free Squid Salad! Thanks guys! As an extra bonus, I got treated to an original flavoured Japanese cheesecake by my colleague. Happy days!To be frank, there are items that can do with a bit of tweaking, but they’re still trialling the menu and at such reasonable prices, there are certainly no major complaints. My sneaky colleague has since made a return without me! I know right, how dare he! Anyway come to think of it, it’s about time I made another visit too.
