DO NOT EAT HERE – SAVE YOUR MONEY. I am an Indian and I am cook too.. this is the worst Indian food I have ever had in Melbourne..
Meat and curry sauce was not freshly cooked. It was just re-heated curry sauce and microwaved chicken. You see water getting departed from the curry sauce. ** Specially with this pricey food I would expect a freshly cooked curry **
There was No taste no quality. There are much better small and cheap Indian places around St Kilda.
Big serves. We had a delicious meal last night with what I suspect is the largest serves we have ever had at an Indian restaurant. Our tasting platter of entrees came out sizzling and allowed us to sample four different treats. We all had butter chicken for mains which came out in huge bowls with unlimited rice and naan (it was a coupon deal). It was also nice to buy a bottle of house wine for $19 and to find it to be a bottle of Rothbury and not your standard dressed up bottle of two buck chuck.
Restaurant is clean, tidy but nothing particularly fancy. Metal chairs which are OK as long as you don’t have to spend hours sitting on them. Staff attentive and efficient.
WOW !!!!!!!!!. Went last night for dinner – new owners and I have been to a few Indian Restaurants in my time and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this !!!
the Samosa’s were fresh and fantastic – the flounder in curry was brillirant and the Beef curry to die to for – staff very friendly and will definitely return – this is a hidden gem – good luck guys
Yuuummmmmy :). Went it icurry last night with an our deal voucher that was given as a present….. And wow we were not disappointed. I had the seekh kebab for starter and my partner had the mixed grill. Everything was cooked to perfection. For mains we had butter chicken and goat curry. The goat was so tender and juicy. Goat is the type of dish where if it’s cooked incorrectly , it can be sooo wrong. But it was amazing. Indian food is one of my favourites, but so many restaurants can be disappointing…. Not this place. The only negative was that the toilets could have been cleaner, however Will def be back. Overall great experience 🙂
Excellent food away from parking issues of St Kilda. We started with a shared mixed entre then had beef vindaloo and vegetable curry. heaps of rice and their lovely naan.
The vindaloo was great – not too hot that it burns your socks off and full of flavour.
It’s the 2nd time we have been there and it is so good to be able to eat in St Kilda without the hastles of parking.
If you like Indian food try it, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Ist visit last weekend with a voucher and took the kids. All the dishes we ordered were tasty although the fish curry was hot for us rather than medium. The entree share plate was small. Mango lassi was fabulous as was the tamarind dipping sauce. We also liked the ice team and desert dumplings. Service was fabulous. The location probably lets this place down. It would do a roaring trade on Fitzroy Street.
