I’ve been here now a few times, on a busy warm night in Acland Street. There are many flavours to choose from, nothing unusual – just what you’d expect. They often run out of lemon gelato though!
I have never had any issues with the gelato, but I’ve definitely had better. I wouldn’t NOT go there, but I wouldn’t go there as my first choice of gelato.One of the good things about Scoops is that even if their competition like 7Apples or New Zealand Natural is closed, Scoops is often open late.
Oh dear, lining up hear is the worst extremely long wait for a scoop of ice cream. Are you milking the cows out there or do you really have no idea who to SCOOP ICE CREAM. Finally its my turn yes after waiting 15 minutes for the 6 people in front of me, unfortunately I was a be shocked, asked for 1 scoop in a cone there was more cone than ice cream she put hardly any in. So disappointed I am going to say it once walk down to 7 apples they pile it on and its worth the wait.
