Although I had a pretty decent/average time here (thanks to good company) – I overall was appalled and astounded by the service at The Vineyard on several occasions when I’ve stopped in for a drink. My most memorable occasion being when the bartender was clearly bombed off of her brains on pot (or possibly something else) and was trying to serve me from behind the bar when I was about 2m away from her and there were droves of people infront of her before me…I wasn’t even after a drink but merely standing mid-conversation. She was belligerent (I was horrified that she was still working and amongst other bartenders) and could hardly pour any drinks.
This has been enough to turn me off and to be honest I reckon there are heaps better places to go in very close proximity.
