This little gem is a real favourite for me and my boyfriend! The food is great; small bites and a few bigger plates that are perfect to share over a glass of wine or a cheeky cocktail. Our favourites are the nduja, croquettes, saganaki and cauliflower tempura. The cheese boards are also a great option. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Special shoutout to the owner, who is lovely and always good for a food or drink recommendation, we like coming in and saying hi! This place is perfect for a casual date night, brunch with friends, or late afternoon drinks with some yummy bites, we’ll definitely be regulars!
Had the salmon bagel and it was just ok. Severely lacking in ricotta, I mean it was spread on like I spread vegemite on toast, very minimal. Decent serving size though since I ordered it with avo on the side.
Wife ordered some kind of unappetizing looking salad, but that’s more down to her choice so I won’t judge there.
Other reviews seem a little too good & I’m a bit sceptical, unless we just happened to order the worst dishes.
We went to XM4 on a Saturday evening with no booking. We walked in and got a table straight away, it was a cute intimate setting with mood lighting. We thoroughly enjoyed! Service was attentive and our waitress made a few cheese suggestions that I later completely fell in love with! There is a fair bit of choice with the menu, from warm shared plates or cheese boards to a wide range of wines and cocktails. We selected a cheese and meat board, which was only $30 with some prosecco. I ended up falling in love with the cheese so much that I walked out with a full wheel of it for only $22. Prices were cheap for the servings we got. XM4 also do $55 cheeseboards and Prosecco on Sundays, only cheaper and better than milk the cow. I would highly recommend!
Great food & coffee , beautiful cozy atmosphere, as if you’re home, very friendly staff and excellent music to enjoy over coffee or lunch! Definitely recommend 🙂

So I was going to meet friends and walked past this little gem and thought I’d stop for a quick drink as I had a bit of time to spare.
This place has has a great selection of beers that I’m a HUGE fan of, not to mention some tasty wines. I chose a platter of cheese and cold cuts which was enough for two but I’m a foodie deep down and didn’t complain.
The staff where super nice and felt like I was at a friend’s place for dinner so I enjoyed it very much.
Would ask that everyone have a quick stop there for some drinks and the breakfast menu looks great also.
Also the Copper bar looks great and that neon sign is a cool touch also.

Attended a beer and cheese matching night at XM4, had a cracking time! Very informative, fantastic beer and cheese selections…will be back, highly recommend!
