Tried John and Marios pizza twice now and gotta say after trying every pizza shop in sunbury this place blows them all out of the water, nothing even comes close!!
We have been going to this pizza place since we moved to Sunbury and never had a problem until tonight. The blonde lady who was serving my girlfriend tonight was unbelievably rude to her when we let them know they got our pizza order wrong the last time (it wasn’t gluten free as ordered and made her very sick). This lady then decided to argue her point rather then just offering a simply apology….. we are not people who would ever cause a fuss or even leave review on websites like this but after the rudeness of this lady and how upset she left my girlfriend i thought i would let other know of our experience….
there is a number of other great pizza places around Sunbury and from this point on we will be enjoying the like of Goonawarra pizza, Vics (which is always great) or even Batman pizza, where they pride themselves on customer service….

Where to begin…
I ordered over the phone, it was a Friday evening and as expected a little busy, got asked to hold when the phone was finally picked up.
Went to pick up the pizzas… the place is a little difficult to find, it’s tucked away in a corner of a car park. (Just in case you’ve never been)
Now to the food… The pizzas were okay. I’m not sure if they’ve changed suppliers recently or anything but their pizzas were kind of flavourless. I think it was the cheese, I say this because their Margherita pizza had no flavour. It was quite rubbery and bland. Not sure if they season their pizza sauce either, that may help give some more delight to customers when biting in to their pizzas. The only good thing I found was the price! $10 for a large pizza

Best Pizzas in Sunbury. Fresh, delicous and great prices.
Staff are super friendly.

The Sunbury Special is a winner. No nonsense. Just great Pizza. Easy to find a park near by. Two thumbs up!
A Great quality Family run Pizza Store – Prices are fair, Everything is made with passion. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!
