A bit slow, but was definitely worth the wait, I have been to Thailand many times, and Thai Hut is what I call authentic food – especially compared to the mainstream Thai restaurants that serve nothing but Pad Thai.
Relaxed atmosphere with good food. My first time to this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a very relaxed feel and the staff were quite attentive without being pushy. Entrees were good and the mains were large portion size. The seafood talay had great flavour with a good mix of fresh seafood. The other meal was Ling with a very fresh salad, both had great flavour and were presented very well. After dessert and coffee we were very satisfied. Overall it was a very enjoyable visit to Thai Hut and I will be back as this is the best Thai I have had in Sunbury.
Please don’t go!. Being vegetarian, we ordered the Thai Green Curry and what we got was a tasteless leftover veggies green curry. When I told the manager, he told me he will ask his wife, who cooked the curry, to give me a call so that she could have a valuable feedback!! The call never came and we had to pay for it in full!! In the hindsight we should have refused to eat it in the first place and returned it rightaway but we felt awkward to do it. However the owner felt no embarrassment on hearing the critique or lying blatantly.
