My wife and I had lunch here with both our parents. No real occassion, just wanted to spend time with them. There is plenty of free parking here and the place is quite spacious. Instead of the lunch menu, I opted for the dinner menu so we could share food together. For starters, we ordered a soup each which satisfied our initial hunger pangs. For mains, I ordered the seafood combination noodles, mixed vegetables, deep fried squid with spicy salt and chilli and murray cod cooked with ginger and shallots. All this with steamed rice and special fried rice. Food were served within half an hour; the waitress did inform us that the fish would take about 20 minutes to prepare. We didnt mind because we passed time through much talking. I would rate the service highly as the two waitresses were very helpful. Everyone enjoyed the food with the fish as the main star dish. As I mentioned earlier, I opted for the dinner menu therefore I paid more for the experience. I didnt mind because everyone enjoyed our time here. I would come here again!
Came here last night for dinner and ordered the Banquet B for $38 per person. The entres were quite good, we particularly enjoyed our Peking duck wraps. The fried rice was delicious- not too oily. The xo beef was too salty for our liking and I didnt like the ice cream they used- tasted like cheap vanilla ice cream.
Overall a pleasant experience.
Had a birthday there last night. We had the banquet with lobster. Great food. However, moving around was difficult as there was little room to even just to go the bathroom. Chairs were placed back to back.
Terrible food with lack of quality and even worst service! The food is flavorless and non enticing. First and last time for me. Save your money and go somewhere more nice and authentic nearby! We were the only persons there during lunch. Don’t bother!
The venue itself is decent and modern.
My first visit wasn’t spectacular, I ordered the tomato rice with black pepper beef fillet, rice was great, beef was not, unfortunately it tasted way too soft, some of my family members liked it because they just enjoyed that it was soft to eat, however, a dish like this needs the right cut and seasoning as it was lacking flavour.
Came back to give this restaurant another go, ordered the mud crab with xo noodles, was lovely however the noodles were drenched by the sauce and it made the noodles over cooked.
The fried rice with minced chicken and salted fish was delicious!
Sweet and sour pork was tasty
We received the wrong order by mistake but we ordered the salt and pepper chicken spare ribs and again, lacking in flavour.
Lastly we ordered the half roasted duck and it was served to us iced cold! It felt like it was in the middle of being thawed! We informed the staff and they were surprised themselves, they’ve replaced it with hot duck but probably wouldn’t attempt to order that again.
Fresh lemon juice was quenching.
Banana fritter was average
Service was great, staff are lovely. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy, not claustrophobic like most Vietnamese restaurants.
Overall, wouldn’t return as there are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants out there.
Take you lover, friends or family here of you are keen to give this place a go.
The spring rolls were still frozen in the middle. Sweet and sour pork not tasty. Scallops with vegetable was ok however it was also cold. Special fried was edible not hot enough. All in all not the best and overpriced.
A little bit out of the way, but if your there i would take the time to go and visit… enjoy the pho, which is tasty, balanced… and full of flavour… service is good.. pho is only available at lunch… but will be back to try other things on the menu!
