  I wanted to just say, thank you to the staff and owner for being very friendly people having to put up with my seriousness and lack of expression of gratitude and kindness.
  I went to this Cafe, located in an area that lacks cafes and is convenient for the people who worked in the area. It’s neatly at a corner spot and has a very simple interior design and large windows all around. It’s your go-to-cafe for coffee, a soft drink or sports drink and a quick takeaway salad as well. There’s a few outdoor tables and chairs when the weather permits to enjoy ‘Sunshine’.
  I came here almost everyday for about 3 weeks to get my lunch. The good thing about this place is they’re absolutely okay with you creating a meal combination with what they have on the menu. (See their pictures or my timeline to peek at my meal combos).
  From their pre-prepared salads and bagels, to the to-be-cooked meals such as the parmagiana or the occassional pasta on the menu. Of course you gotta pay accordingly to the combination but I’ve never paid anything more than $15 for a meal.
  Some of the meals were good, majority of the salads had flavour in which I enjoyed – my favourites are the quinoa salad and the pesto pasta salad, the parmagiana, beef burgers, coconut prawns and fish had the right kind of flavour to it to make it not a bland meal. The Chicken Pesto Pasta needed more flavour though, it was ok. The presentation is lovely for some of the meals, simple and very cafe-like.
  I also ordered some of their teas and from what I could see they were organic, fairtrade as well I think and was full of flavour, expensive yes as usual, but well worth it if you’re being health conscious and want to skip the coffee or switch it up from having just plain water.

  TLDR; Overall, the staff were efficient and the owner was friendly, most of the dishes were enjoyable to eat and healthy and you can do combinations, the price was well worth it for the portion sizes and freshness of the dishes (never paid more than $15), tea was organic and fair trade I think, would come again when I’m in the area and want some Cafe food instead of Vietnamese cuisine.

  Not bad for a simple Sunday breakfast if you can’t be bothered travelling to some of the popular breakfast spots in the west. Would go back.

  Good location and very pleasant inside. I enjoyeda tuna omelette. The menu said sourdough, but may be they have run out. Didn’t matter.There is a long list of drinks as well.

  Credit to this cafe. It doesn’t have a lot of competition but it really tries be a good cafe. I must mention the cakes. For a smallish cafe the range was really impressive.

  Mr zambono. Bad cafe with rude staff. Customer service poor and drinks were below average. There is way better out there

  Nothing special, but it’s open early. ICaffe was a bright spot in the pre-dawn chill and rain when another cafe I had planned to hit after jumping off the train at the Sunshine station was inexplicably closed. How could I work on the psych ward at Sunshine Hospital without my favourite addictive substance pulsing through my brain? Luckily, iCaffe opens at 0600, and I was there at 0605. The flat white I had as takeaway ($4 for a medium) was pretty good — strong crema flavour, not bitter from over-espressing. The Asian barista knocked it out in no time, which was no feat, because I was the only punter in there that early. I’m more of a sweets-in-the-morning kind of bloke, but ICaffe looks more set up for sandwiches. I had to settle for a raspberry muffin (overpriced at $4) out a box of pre-made food service stuff. It was large, and decent enough, but muffins don’t excite me. Go here if you like banh mi with your coffee, but not if you’re a pastry fiend.

  Icaffe’s decor is nothing special however it is always bright and clean (Spotlessly Clean in fact) I can’t comment on the variety of food because I find it hard to go past the delicious Eggs Benedict and the rich, strong, coffee. Eggs Benedict is a very personal taste but the staff here make the eggs with a nice gooey, golden centre and generous dollops of the sauce. The coffee is DC Monsoon and has the nice strong kick I like in a coffee.

  Good cafes that offer all day breakfast are hard enough to find but Sunshine is virtually bereft of them. It is fantastic to see this family business start up in the area. The staff are also a highlight – always friendly and welcoming with a warm smile. It seems nothing you request is too much trouble for them. I guess the years in the hospitality industry shine through here.

  As an added bonus they are situated next to a large, free car park and opposite two cheap fruit and veg markets.
