Really disappointing experience. Tea flask had a dead fly on top of it, so I asked the lady (I presume owner) to change the flask for me. She proceeded to brush the dead fly off the flask and poured me a cup straight from the flask. I reiterated that there was a dead fly, and only then did she replace the flask with a new one. The dead fly was left on the table. My appetite was completely lost!

Typical vietnamese restaurant. The stir fry beef ( bo luc lac) was still rare red inside, very hard to chew. The Nasi goreng was just a typical fried rice, nothing special. My sister ordered a wintermelon tea yet the staff brought out an Oreo Tiramisu ice blend. Combination chow mein has 1 prawn, few pieces of chicken and beef, 1 piece of fish cake and the rest was vegetables. Average food for average price, just what you expect from a vietnamese restaurant.

Their crispy noodle was great and came in generous portion. Sadly the other dishes that we ordered, beef on tomato rice, was pretty disappointing. It’s tasteless and the beef was tender because it’s quite rare not because it was from a good cut. Well, at least i felt it that way. They provided plenty of chilli and seasonings which was nice, tho it didnt look that fresh to be honest. The drink, blended oreo with pearl, was okay.

It’s an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that deserves more customers. I really enjoyed the clean open area, good value for money, well presented food that also tastes good. This restaurant also gives you more quantity of food than what you would have gotten elsewhere.

    10/10.

Fabulous restaurant! Spotlessly clean and service was so prompt and friendly. How do they make a profit when they serve up such huge and high quality meals at such low prices? We had pork spring rolls (v generous with the herbs), chicken and sweet corn soup (big enough for 2), wonton soup, vermicelli with bbq pork (massive bowl), mixed seafood and vegetables on rice (plate bigger than my head) for $41. Unbelievable. Delicious food and so much to choose from. I’m loving discovering all these wonderful Vietnamese eateries in Sunshine.
