I come here quite often for coffee, it’s not consistent. Had a couple soy lattes that were too hot (burnt tasting soy) and a few that were spot on. Bannana bread is really tasty, wifi could be improved. The handy location and free WiFi keeps me comming back.
Drove past thought yep I wanna try that place
Looked fresh and inviting.
My God the coffee was so incredible and im a barista btw I had to take photos…
Ordered my usual
poached with Mushies as a side
Eggs overcooked a little but drizzled on an awsum olive oil and my perfect and I mean perfect sourdough..
Well done guys.. was exceptional
Staff could monitor the lack of cutlery as they take orders if u want to be critical of anything.
I thought I would try this cafe for a change. Unfortunately I started to get the wrong vibe when I arrived observing a line of customers at the counter and only one staff member serving whilst 2 others mucked about behind the counter. I was shown to a table where I sat for 20 minutes waiting for somebody to take my order but was ignored whilst other customers who had arrived after me were served. So, I didn’t get to sample the food as I left but the service needs attention. It looks like a family business who don’t necessarily have the experience to operate a cafe in the competitive cafe culture of Melbourne.
Came here to grab a quick breakfast. Friendly service, good food and fantastic coffee! Has a nice decor and a laidback vibe to the place. Highly recommended.
This place caught my attention by having my initials, it’s hipster vibe and nice location. Parking near the station might be tricky at certain times, but managed a spot across the road. Friendly enough service from what looks like to be a staffed by family. (1 girl was especially friendly and happy – it’s those kind of people that keep you coming back!)
I had the breakfast vitamins salad and it was really tasty and filling! Not too much kale and varied texture and flavour. Got dr martys crumpets and was suprised they were a bit sweet. Flavourful (and a bit peppery) 9 spice chai from the pot. Nice spot to watch the world go by
Hi there I was in your great caf yesterday late afternoon just before you closed with my boss, regular Michael Norster. I lost my phone sometime during that time and was wondering if you found one, a Huawei latest model. If yes could you please let me know at [email protected] or leave across the road with Alissa at Suite 3, 109 Union Rd?
This is my ‘go to’ local cafe. So pleased that CL offers single origin and filter coffee, and it tastes superb. The food is fresh, healthy, and innovative. Well done Elias (spelling not sure) and Nathan. I love walking in and being greeted as a regular, and can simply say ‘the usual please’. You’ve made me so happy, as I’m a coffee snob, and nothing else comes close in the nearby burbs.
