We found Zimt had nice stuff and an impressive display of cakes. However, the small savory servings were just the pie or quiche and the price paid was quite expensive, we thought. We had dessert, sucked in by the great display: the Alize was very nice but the sticky date not so good. The cafe looked good but we then found ourselves in a cold corner so it was not particularly comfortable. In all, we found some good food but highly priced in a not very comfortable environment. We dont see ourselves returning to or recommending Zimt.
Just love this cute cafe in a beautiful suburban area. They serve coffee from Campos which I love. The service is amazing. Very quiet and relaxing, perfect place to have morning coffee.
Really nice cakes and not too over priced too. My favourite is their berry tart and the berry cheesecake slices. The cafe is quite large and has lots of newspapers for reading whilst enjoying your afternoon coffee and cake. Heaps of parking at Surrey Hills train stations too.
