  Let me please start my review by saying WOW!We were so impressed by Stockpot. The staff and food were exceptional.We had just left fallscreek after a day of snowboarding and wanted to find a place to eat dinner on a Saturday night.Stumbling across stockpot on zomato, we decided to call up and get a booking for our group of 8.We arrived about 30 minutes after making our booking and once we got in, we realised how lucky it was that we decided to book. The restaurant was so busy and there were more people coming and trying to get a table.The restaurant was a cute little place with great atmosphere, dimly lit and has a nice outdoor area with a fireplace which seemed to keep the area quite warm.The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and all acknowledge us.There is quite an extensive menu offering something for everyone. Likewise with the drinks menu, there is a large selection or beers, wine and non alcoholic drinks.Our group ordered the eye fillet steak, chicken pizza, the salmon and a few of us had ordered the lamb shank which was on their specials board.The food came out quickly, the pizza was first and we were extremely impressed by it. Much better than the pizza you’d order at your local pizza shop or crust.The lamb shanks were also very impressive, we ate them very quickly. Though they were on the smaller size it was value for money. Would have been perfect if there was an option to upgrade it to a double shank as some restaurants do. The eyefillet and salmon also kept up with the high standard of food which had been served to us. Every plate was eaten clean.As we were so impressed with the pizza we ordered another, the meat lovers.The restaurant was extremely busy at this point with in house and take away customers so the pizza took a little longer than our original orders. But that was no issue as it was definitely worth the wait once it came out.This was the perfect way to end our evening, our bellies extremely full and satisfied.Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area, definitely call in and make a booking though.

  We visited this place on a Thursday night and it was absolutely packed. The only flaw was that we waited more than 30 minutes before our orders were actually taken. Wasn’t sure if it was because of a particularly busy day, or if they were just short-staffed. Service was nevertheless friendly, and food absolutely delicious.

  Walked in early on a Thursday night & was surprised to see reserved signs on every table. The lovely staff member gave us a table as long as we were out within an hour. Best of both worlds here. Amazing food and friendly service. Staff were run off their feet with looking after the restaurant as well as take away orders but still provided great service. The bao buns on the specials were amazing. Lamb pizza hit the spot.We had time for dessert and the warm choc pudding was beautiful. Highly recommend.

  Everything was absolutely spot on. Pretty sure the pasta was home-made. Well done.Chicken baos deliciousSalmon pertectly cookedDesserts were perfect!!

  Went for an early dinner for 2 on Thursday night. Very nice quiet atmosphere. Terrific choices on the menu and great specials. Chose the Bao Buns and they were delicious. Then shared a gourmet pizza and it disappeared very quickly. It was a quiet night but the service was great and friendly. Will definitely come back to keep trying that special board.
