E: On her way back from the local grocery shopping rounds, mum stopped past Watervale Fish and Chips for some quick, friendly service and value for money. Mum reckons the staff were quite friendly (small, seemingly family-ran businesses usually are), but marked down due to running out of Flounder and having to substitute for flake instead. The chips were golden, salted to perfection and super soft and potato-y which is my favourite, scoring an extra .5 for taste. The value was pretty good considering this business was charging cheaper prices as compared to most other fish and chip outlets. Not the best, but not the worst.

Excellent meal. Chips were crispy, flake was thick, juicy and very crunchy. Potato cakes some of the best I’ve ever had. Big, thick and crunchy. The only thing I did not enjoy was the hot dog in batter, which tasted quite average. Overall, definitely recommend to give them a go
Great place tastiest freshest and best value fish n chips you can’t beat them for price. Crisp and the best. Cost is great service is great.
Never been disappointed. The food is always fantastic. Especially the fish. The crunchiest batter I’ve ever had. We go back every couple of weeks. Totally worth it.
Best fish and chip shop if you are looking for a well priced feed. The food is always crunchy and cooked well. I always order a bit of everything fish related x2, and priced about $30.
Great service and really friendly staff. They make a great flake and their chips are great for a weekend lunch. The burgers are also a favourite in my household really fast service as well
