What a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff, soft music, good company and delicious food. The ciders are definitely worth a try too. It might not look to much from the outside, but really nice.
Very poor meal from here. I ordered my dish very hot, but it was very mild. I asked for plain steamed rice, but they said they were unable to do that, it had to be saffron. I also found the overly camp waiter a bit hard to deal with. And it was very expensive. Don’t waste your time and money here, nip down the road to Upper Ferntree Gully.
Not the greatest Indian place I’ve eaten at in the outer burbs of Melbourne. We asked for meals to be hot (spicy) mild versions have been delivered the two times we’ve visited. The bread is nice but that’s about where it stops.
The owner or Manager isn’t the best with staff or customers. I’ll not return.
Fabulous food and very affordable. Some of their curries are of the harder to find ones which I really liked to see. One that comes to mind was methi chicken. We ordered two meat curries and a vegetable curry with a saffron rice serve and naan and roti, and this was plenty for two adult diners. The atmosphere was good and the wait staff were friendly. The wine list was good with a couple of decent Barossa and Clare valley Ted’s on the list, and at decent glass and bottle prices. We enjoyed our evening there, thank you.
