I grabbed a takeaway family sized pizza for me and a mate which we took down the park to eat on a lovely sunny afternoon.
It was one of the nicest pizzas l had tasted in years, all the ingredients had been properly cooked and perfectly positioned on the pizza so every mouthful had a variety of ingredients. Perfectly prepared and cooked, awesome pineapple piecesthe base was perfect also, every edge has a combination of tomatoe paste, ham and melted burnt cheese which l love
I would definitely recommend Metropolis Pizza if you are looking for a really nice pizza.

I’ve honestly never had anything bad. The pizza is delicious and has lots of toppings. The carbonara pasta is the best around the area for sure. I would highly recommend this place for pizza and pasta
You can tell they pride themselves on quality. This is a takeaway place but you are always greeted with a smile (I find that nice for a takeaway pizza place). Nevertheless the gourmet Mediterranean, beef supreme, chicken deluxe, Mexicana pizzas aremade with real meat, not mince.You can’t compare the quality of their pizzas to other takeaway pizza places. Toppings are fresh, plentiful and tasty. You’re onto a winner!
I have been ordering pizza from here since I can remember. As far as I know it’s a very good well run businesses. Pizza is what you can expect and the delivery boy is very nice young man usually. Better than what you’d get from the likes of dominos and Pizza Hut that charge you a small fortune for delivery
Best pizza in the Templestowe/Doncaster area. Lovely people and great deals on the pizzas. Been around to other places and very few compare to the quality of Metropolis.
My go to local pizza place. Ordered delivery tonight, staff member on the phone was friendly and polite, came within 20 minutes of ordering (I don’t live too far away, but still pretty quick) so it was hot, well cooked, plenty of toppings, the olives aren’t the dodgy sliced ones from a can (thank God) and good sauce. Solid pizza as usual 🙂
