Great food and great service..Always exceeds expectation, We always buy from this place. Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken above this world.
I went to this place the second time on Tuesday with 6 people and I have to say the food was delicious.
Service was good n food was delivered on time though we were the only table this time but I believe it will be good even when the place will be busier.
Plates were warm and the place was clean.
I guess they need to give more attention to the restrooms.
Quantity can be improved as I believe the serves were a wee bit small, I have to say its Thomastown and not camberwell.
The first time I ordered delivery from here a few months ago, it was so good that I ordered the same again two nights later!
I think its the best Indian in the Thomastown area – but I do feel that the taste seems to vary on occasion. I always order the malai kofta. Last night, it contained almond flakes, but in the past the kofta themselves have included cashews and fruit (just the way I like them!). The flavour of the sauce sometimes seems a little different.
The samosas and garlic naan are delicious! Naan is soft and fluffy, not heavy at all.
Overall, I really do like Haweli, but I think there are some issues with consistency. When they get it right, its definitely 4 or 4.5 out of 5 for me!
P.S. My fianc said to say we really appreciate the cans of drink, but could they be kept separate from the food to keep them cold?
Magnificent!! Last minute decision and we thought we weren’t hungry. Devoured our Rogan Josh & chicken with gusto. Not a morsel was left. Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere & for a mid week night, very busy. Great service to match the wonderful food. Highly recommended.
i ordered through menulog 1x butter chicken, 1x muttu paneer 1x mango lassi and a roti. for takeway it was delicious! chicken was nice and tender , food was full of flavour. will definitely eating here again.
Dont let the incredibly reasonable prices scare you off, haweli is the real deal. Love their curries ,ive probably tried about 10 types and they all passed the test with flying colours. My personal fave is the Shahi Paneer which is just so decadent and aromatic. If you ask for spicy, the chef actually delivers which is a first for indian cuisine in my personal experience. The staff are extremely attentive and courteous.
I have recently made this my go to indian spot after my previous spot got really slow with their service, the food here is quite good, fresh and well spiced, large selection of curries to choose from.
Price is very reasonable as well and quality is good
