This was a collaboration experience. I walked through the door and was welcomed immediately by one of the owners which was lovely!. Malia was so friendly and accommodating which immediately made me comfortable. We ordered a few dishes and all were fantastic! I just wish my friend and I could fit more in!. The biggest surprise for me was the Granola as Im not usually a healthy eater but WOW the granola was so tasty. I loved the earthy flavours of the warm chicken salad it was perfect for this cold Melbourne weather. I definitely would return to this cosy Thornbury Cafe.

Our friends recommended this cafe to us and let me just say, Im happy that we visited. The level of service coupled with the welcoming and friendly staff made our dining experience a good one. The menu has a nice variety. The dishes were well presented but most importantly, the majority of our food tasted great! My favourite was the Coconut chia which wasnt too sweet and contained the right balance in flavour and texture. The Smashed Avo on the other hand was too sour. We dont usually have lemon mixed in with avocado. (All four of us agreed, it was too sour) Usually, cafes leave the lemon on the side for customers to add in if they want. Overall, a wonderful cafe not to be missed. Oh, and the coffee here is delicious too! **NOTE: 1.5% surcharge apples on all cards – 15% surcharge on public holidays. Split bills allowed.

I loved this little warm and super friendly cafe! The outdoor courtyard is a brunch dream where you can enjoy some sun and good company! The food choices were of a great variety. We ordered the smashed avo, which was a massive portion which I love! There was heaps of flavour too and the addition of shanklish (cheese) was very tasty.

The French toast was totally worth every calorie! The bread was moist and the berry mousse was light and fresh. I loved the addition of the natural roll up as it took my back to my child hood.

Finally we had the Huevos Rancheros which was a cafe favourite. It took me to Mexico and was such a humble, delicious and filling dish!

The almond lattes were perfect and iced tea special very tasty. Staff were super friendly and service was attentive and speedy! I would definitely return to this cafe and recommend it!
