Came here as it was in the entertainment guide so we thought wed try it out. The food was nice, not amazing. The crowd varies from young, to middle aged to elderly.
Decent bistro style offerings. Calamari beautifully tender and well cooked. The accompanying tartare sauce was very bland. Most pubs/bistros load your plate with chips at the expense of calamari – not so at the Furlan Club! Very large portion of calamari with fewer (but still enough) chips. Standard side salad. Chicken Kiev a little burnt on the outside, but passable overall. Daughter loved the bolognese. Good kids’ play area and excellent service. Solid value, unpretentious food well suited to a relaxed family gathering.
