I have been here many times and while I’d love to support local, the service is consistently bad. The staff are not aware of customers waiting for service and are quite often chatting to each other rather than checking if anyone needs help. My husband has sat outside with our daughter a few times and not been served. I also struggled to get through the door with the pram a few times and the staff have looked but offered no assistance. I reluctantly have to stop going because their is always an issue with service and often when the cafe is quiet.

Great wholesome brunch food, great coffee and friendly service. A really relaxed and cosy spot for a coffee that feels almost like the more communal neighbourhoody extension to your loungeroom. When the weather is warmer the outdoor seating under the street trees round the side is a nice spot to sit.

Food was tasty and inventive and love the aim of reducing waste in their dishes. I ordered poached eggs with chard and hazelnut pesto. The emulsion with almost too salty but the bitterness of the greens helped to cut through. My dog flat white however was far too acidic for my liking, and had curdled the milk into a lump by the time I was ready for my last sip. The service was a bit shakey however they apologised via a note on the menu stating that their spike in volume may result in less than perfect service, so definitely forgivable for a new cafe.
