The bar itself is nice but I was served by the most arrogant, rude, entitled bartender I’ve ever had the gross misfortune of dealing with. I simply approached the bar and asked for a beer and within seconds he had insulted me and my friend and given us nasty attitude. I never write mean reviews ((or reviews in general)) but this one was warranted -this dude is an absolute demon.

Good venue to see some live music. Small amount of food on offer. But it’s no the place you would come for a meal. Rather catch a few mates, have a drink and enjoy some live music.

great spot for live local bands. Usual staples on offer with regards beer. Didn’t get a chance to order anything as it was late. Bring ear plugs especially sitting near front.

Good Live Band Venue. Friendly staff and regular customers. The only complaint is the music can be a little too loud at times.

My man and I LOVE Tago mago! After work its a hop-skip-jump to play pool w the friendly locals, enjoy happy hour bevvys after work and YEP the burgers kick arse while the Saganaki with olives and yummy bread is my favorite! We also quite often end up staying until late because the bands are reeally cool and the DJs are always spinning cool retro tracks – I took my bro there over christmas and the bar staff delivered the goods in the coctail department 😀 ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS!

Tago Mago is a friendly laid back venue. Food by the Owl & the Pussycat was really good. Had porterhouse steak and steak sandwich. Great chips, there could have been more salad, but sure I could’ve indicated I wanted more and they would’ve obliged. Good food, nice place for drinks, unpretentious. Go!

I went with my mum and my girlfriend. The kitchen is run by two very nice ladies. I ordered the chefs special which was a 400g rib eye with herb and garlic butter sauce, as well as chips and salad. There was a slight issue with the steak being a little to rare to my liking, but that got sorted until I got near the bone. The tast was very nice indeed, it was tender ,juicy and the herb and garlic butter sauce was beautiful. The chips were nice even though they weren’t golden brown and crispy. The salad was small , but with the dressing you don’t need much. Both the ladies had a parma which I wasn’t hapy with because I was hoping there would have been three different dishes on the table. In saying that the parmas are absolutely awesome. Its thick, its juicy, its succulent and the sauce and cheese on top is marvelous. This has to be one of the best parmas I’ve tasted. For dessert there was only two dishes to choose from. Me and the mrs had a chocolate and peanut butter sundae which was quite nice when you had some of the peanut butter and ice cream together. But if you have the peanut butter on its own it just stays in your mouth. Mum had this cheesecake where the base was ginger flavoured and that was nice to but I found the base to be a little dry. The two ladies that run the kitchen were very nice. My sundae was on the house due to the issue with the steak. I enjoyed dining at this place and will definetly go for a parma when I want one.
