I have only had coffee here. Its always good. The staff is great. The lady Batista, I think its the owner, is very funny and makes you feel welcome every time. She knows how to make a good latte.
The Brickie & The Barista is a cool, well designed new coffee shop in Thornbury at a great location very close to Thornbury station. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee is alright, with a bit of refining and it would make the place all the better and ensure it being a regular stop off for me on the way to work.

Only just opened up & haven’t had a chance to eat here yet BUT … I’m coming back on the weekend for breakfast.
Just popped into the B+B because its so conveniently located and the fitout looked cool. What we found was super friendly and fast service, and the most delicious (warm, strong, perfectly Melbourne) coffee. This is definitely my new favourite coffee go-to in Northcote/Thornbury area! Cant wait to try the food
My girlfriend and I stopped in for some takeaway coffees this morning and were blown away by how delicious the coffee was! Lovely people, great fit-out and delicious coffee…the Brickie and Barister nailed it! Can’t wait to go back!!
