Great wheel chair access, inside and out. Wheelchair accessible toilet (it’s huge).
It’s easy for staff to come around the bar to help those chair bound who may be quieter. Fairly loud music and vibe.
Smaller venue but generally not crowded so we managed okay with a medium group with multiple chairs.

We visited Trumpy on a Monday night for dinner. The food and service were great! The waiter was friendly and allowed us to sample different wines first and then choose the one we preferred best!

Great place for a casual dinner and drink – will be back to try out the chicken lunch special over the weekend!

A very unfortunate name in today’s political climate

Came to Trumpy a while back for a 40th birthday party which had taken over all the back part of the restaurant leaving on the front area for regular patrons. They had a great range of beers and some really nice wines by the glass. We received regular platters of food throughout the early part of the evening which were all very tempting. I went a little bit silly for the fried chicken in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if I start resembling fried chicken. It was an absolute ripper.

Trumpy was a cozy warm venue and was quite rustic on the inside. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the fried chicken.

It’s mid week Wednesday and parking was ample, right in front of Trumpy! Fell in love with the mulled wine instantly on first sip. Ambience was dark/romantic-ish. But I took 2 colleagues there and we had a relaxing conversation with delicious tapas and drinks. Didn’t try the cocktails this time, but definitely on the to-do for next time!

Must try dishes: Chicken Liver Parfait, Seared Scallops, Chestnut & Chocolate Fondant (with coconut sorbet) & lamb shoulder.

Just in the neighbourhood and tadaaa! The homemade duck pie trumps it all! Great ambiance and the lighting was perfect! An excellent hangout place away from the city.
The duck pie will be missed!

Excellent quality food. Sharing plates always = more expensive but the dishes are well thought out and prepared and very tasty. The potatoes, beef and mixed vegetables are all superb. Nice selection of wines and the bartenders are knowledgable regarding the food and drinks.

Nice space although the entire front part near the bar seems wasted, with no one ever using it. Courtyard tunes can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you make the mistake of sitting next to the one really loud speaker.

Overall nice crowd. Have had quite a few fun relaxing nights at Trumpy.

Really love Trumpy for those nights when the kids go to a sleep over and we can just stroll over and have a bite and a few beers. Usually awesome tunes playing and the staff are great!
