  I usually like  La Porchetta Traralgon but last night I had a risotto that was terrible I cook a mean Risotto and I know what it should look and taste like, but this was like fried rice that went wrong just plain lousy. next time I’ll have a pizza they should be able to get that right.

  We went to La Porchetta Traralgon for a work farewell/welcome dinner for a group of 40 people tonight. The guest of honour had to wait 1.5 hours for his food to arrive even though he ordered earlier. The quality of food did not justify the wait. We were not impressed with the service and will likely not return again. There were no apologies for the tardiness nor was the meal for the guest of honour complimentary.

  Solid. La Porchetta is la Porchetta its a good place to go for affordable family meal and repeated visits. Always timely and friendly

  I don’t know why this place finds it so hard to make a good Italian pizza. They seem to be always burnt and the toppings unrecognisable. Putting the cheese on the bottom could be a start to not burning it and following a simple Italian pizza base recipe which actual has some flavour might also help. One thing is for sure, you would never find this sort of sub standard offering in Italy. Lift your game, you are embarrassing us Aussies with Italian backgrounds a bad reputation. Carl

  Excellent selection of both meals and drinks. Very friendly staff and everyone enjoyed their meals! Great night out.
