We drove all the way from Melbourne to go to the art gallery in Morwell. We were hungry for lunch and found this place on Zomato and it really exceeded our expectations. The staff were super friendly and attentive and the food was really delish.
First encounter with this place was last year on the way to Lake Entrance. We were impressed with their fried butter chicken, it was soft, tasty and burst of flavours. So we recently returned to this place and drove for 2.5 hours from Melbourne just for those chickens. We ordered few others foods too since it was a long drive. We still impressed with their chickens, however not so impressed with their fusion menu. Oyster shot and oyster Kilpatrick were good. Roast duck with oranges was not good, meat was dried. Pork ribs with korean chili sauces was big disappointment, meat was cold n sauce wasn’t good. However cauliflower soup and pear salad was tasty. Dessert also nice. We agreed that country style foods are good but their fusion menu are not good. But customer service was good.
Decided to stop in on our way to Melbourne from Lakes Entrance and I am really pleased that we did. Great food, Great service, Great place. We had the 2 course lunch and it is well worth it. Highly recommend this place and I hope to dine here again
