We’ve been to the Terrace Cafe several times over the past six years we’ve lived in Traralgon and haven’t ever been truly impressed. Our last visit was probably three years ago where we ordered a side of chips and the number of chips that appeared equated to around $1 per chip. That was the last straw for us and we didn’t return.Fast forward to now and I had started looking for a restaurant in Traralgon, open on a Monday night, that we hadn’t been to for a while or at all. There wasn’t much but the Trip Advisor reviews of the Terrace Cafe were encouraging and I decided to give it one more chance. Luc and his fellow waiter were very helpful and accommodating, the food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our steaks arrived promptly and cooked just as we’d ordered with amazing buttered seasonal vegies on the house. A whole bowl full of french fries was a pleasant change with yummy aioli too. Our dessert wasn’t as spectacular; the affogato panna cotta could probably have been better served in a bowl as the coffee sauce was the best part of the whole dessert and it was hard to get a good spoonful from a flat plate. Overall, we’ll be back now that things appear to have turned around.

Lovely Evening. My husband took me to Century Inn for our anniversary. The staff were very friendly making us feel special. Our dinner was beautiful we started with the pork belly and soft shell crab. For main course we had the exotic mushroom risotto and the eye fillet. The deconstructed cheesecake was a real treat. Home made sorbets were really home made. We will definitely return.
Expected better. My husband and I have been attending the Terrance Cafe for a number of years for our birthdays and anniversary and always had a great meal. On the last two occasions the food has been less then impressive. I can say it was awful but it was certainly not worth the money that we spent. The staff have always been great and are a credit to the Cafe.
