On a road trip decided to stop in Traralgon for lunch. As you entered town you saw The Royal Exchange Hotel. With the option of $10 lunch deal he was a great idea to stop here. Even though the wait on the food was long the food was well made delivered. Throughly enjoyed

Had a great meal with the family on the way through to Orbost. Friendly staff and a great steak sandwich. Kids are free on a Friday and there is a small kids playroom which is always handy to keep the kids busy.

Service non existent, complimentary salad empty bowls, chips absolutely drowned in Chicken Salt, no cutlery, not much to be happy about except leaving with dinner plates still on the table 20 minutes after we finished not eating.

Went out to the back area that they call “Flanagans” for their Parma night, oh so fancy. Ordered gravy which cost me $2.50 which never arrived when my meal came out and when I asked for the gravy, I was accused of not paying for it. Didn’t have cutlery at the bar when I ordered and was only provided when I went up to the bar while I waited to the $2.50 gravy I didn’t pay for. Can’t wait to come back. What a place

The worst fish and chips I have ever been served. These stick were supposed to be flat head tales. They tasted worse than any froze fish I have ever bought. The service was appalling with the chef arriving 10 minutes later than us. The high chair they provide was dirty as were their toilets and we were the first to arrive for lunch. If you are considering calling in for a meal I urge you to keep driving.
