I think it’s just an average fish and chips. Not sure why they are the top 10 fish and chips in Melbourne. Everything is just ordinary. Bought it last night. Tasted oily even though its their first day back on business after a long break. Chips is hot that crunchy too. Potato cake is too thick too.
Ordered the special for 2. Everything was deep fried well and not excessively oily. I sometimes find that many fish and chips overuse their frying oil, but it was not the case here. My only criticism would be the underseasoning.
Wow. I love this place. Amazing food, lovely people. Fast and fresh. I’ve had fish, burgers, souva and chip here, all delicious. My husband works in the area and eats there most days now.
