Steak night is on Thursday nights. So cheap and a great feed especially for the family. Steak was a little rare but we all enjoyed it. Wednesday night is Parma night so it’s value for money on these nights

This  is a beautiful old hotel and pub currently 152 years old with beautiful antiques and decorations inside. The food is very well priced and is your typical pub food done perfectly. I ordered grilled barramundi with chips and gravy and vegetables. Everything was delicious but the gravy was probably the best i’ve ever had in my life and we had to order more because we couldn’t get enough of it. Defintely come here if you are visiting Wangaratta.

Being a local it’s strange that I never ever had a meal at the vine hotel. My partner suggested we go there for the $14 Parma. The vine hotel has a real warm country feel. As soon as you walk in your transported back in time. It’s a real saloon/Wild West theme. Chandeliers, piano in the corner, antiques etc.At $14 the chicken Parma is not only great value but a real hit taste wise. It’s one of the best parmas I’ve had, with a real good serve of chips and vegies. Service is very friendly and big max behind the bar is good value. We’ll be back for steak night next time.

Really fresh food. Classic chicken parma and scoth fielt cooked perfectly. Super nice staff and locals in the public bar. Nice out door area and great place to take families of all ages. Ask to go down to the cellar.

What a great pub out the back of Wangarrata. 500 meters down the road from the caravan park I’m staying at so it was nice to have an extra drink and walk home. Parma and pot for $17 tonight and it was good. The cheese and broccoli was Amazing! Drinks however made up for the well priced meal with two cans of lemonade costing $7 – Um excuse me: WHAT!!!!!
