A spacious cafe restaurant located inside bushy park. A variety of cuisines to pick. From burgers, pasta to asian. The watermelon smoothie is very refreshing and has a nice sweetness to it. The pad Thai with chicken had a nice aroma and taste to it but after a while the citrus starts to irritate the throat. The Parma is quite big, though the chicken is a bit plain. As for for the sides, it also comes with lots of salad with the dressing seperate and the chips are crunchy.
Overall, good service, the food come out fast, a wide range of seating and decent for the price
Ordered 2x the $9.50 for BBQ Pork/Chicken Roll, chips and a coffee/hot chocolate. ($19 total).
A tinge of sadness as we watched tributes to Prince (died today) on the TV’s.
How was the food? We loved it. The pork roll was made with extra extra care, it showed. Gorgeous fresh ingredients. Especially liked the crunchy Tiger Roll (warmed and toasted up). Chips were perfectly done.
The hot chocolate made one Whip very happy, especially the 3 marshmallows!!!! The latte was made with lots of care, but missed the mark a little.
Service was friendly and nice.
Overall we were quite impressed and already planning another visit.
Don’t let the strange kangaroo with watermelon put you off. the cake inside is better than most cafes. Good place to grab a coffee and some cake. Big enough to find a table and not be hassled to pay your bill.
A menu selection that ranges from Asian dishes/snacks, to French patisserie, to family favourites – there’s something to enjoy with your orchard views.
Kudos to the fresh bahn mi bread roll and the pho spread; the broth was very garlicky and bit too salty, but it’s not terrible.
I think there should be noticeable signs that says there’s a cafe by the entrance – unless you’re local, you may not know it’s there.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times now and for what it is, a restaurant at a fruit and veggie market I am very impressed.Twice I took a group of 15 older ladies and they were treated with the utmost care and respect. Our orders were dealt with quickly and efficiently and any errors were fixed speedily and without fuss.Do not go expecting 5star a la carte dining and you will not be disappointed but this is reflected in the price. What we did get was basic appetising food, a great selection and a pleasant outlook over the orchards. Noone rushes you to move on and the staff are always helpful and pleasant.
Bushy Park Cafe. We live locally, the cafe has recently been renovated and the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Yes the menu boards are a bit daggy, but the food itself is fresh, tasty and never greasy. The Thai items in particular are cooked to order and are packed full of fresh flavour. Visitors shouldn’t conflate the cafe with the fruit & veg market; just because they share space doesn’t mean they share produce or values. The food plating for a simple cafe is remarkably good, with attention to detail. The overall menu may not be particularly original but it is well made and tasty and not expensive. The Thai curries, Redang and Pad Thai are all worth trying; they even make their own Roti with the Rendang. They have an original approach to hot dogs too, packed full of fresh crunchy salad and dressings, quite an eye opener. The coffee is not great and the desserts are ordinary – just like most other suburban cafes! The views are a bonus too, plus, you can get your fruit & veg at the same time!

Rendang. Yummy!
A real shame…. I was looking forward to eating at this cafe as they are linked to a great veg market, next door. You think that would mean their food might be fresh. Unfortunately for me it was not, had a scone that I could only manage one bite and I believe it could be older than the cafe itself.
Fingers crossed they will take a look at the reviews and think more about fresh simple food. I really want this place to work!
