Burgers were served cold and tasteless. They looked so appetising on the menu but looked quite pathetic for burgers in person- even by fastfood standards. I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Thickbuger- expected actual mushrooms but it was only a very watered down mushroom sauce (again the photo displayed were very deceiving). The only thing we liked were the fries. Would not be returning.

I wouldn’t rate this place highly, came here tonight and had quite an off experience. The line was out the door at 6ish which is quite early for some dinner diners. Both vending machines for the soft drinks were all flat, all the flavours were flat everyone was complaining the manager even said the soft drinks tasted horrible, so I asked for ice teas to compensate for this, which I got.

The burgers were sloppy so were my friends burgers. Not many of us were impressed. Food took a little while to come out but cost me and my partner $40 for not even a decent burger and fries. Next time I’m going to Hungry Jack’s for half the price.

First time coming here, excited since its a famous American burger joint newly opened here. Crisscuts were very unique, crispy, with the right amount of saltiness. I ordered the famous star combo for $13 and burger was rather average, with its sauce being traditional mustard and tomato, however, had a unique and interesting taste I had never tasted from the other burger joints. More smoky i guess. Sadly, the bun was a bit cold and felt like a normal fast food chain even though its price had me with high expectations of a great burger. It was a lot bigger portion than hungry jacks and maccas, which made me very full. Good place to hang out at night with friends but price isnt worth its quality.

Third time eating at Carl’s Jr. Ordered the double western bacon cheeseburger and criss cut fries. The burgers are made to order and don’t take long to make. This place is definitely a fast food outlet. If you are expecting a niche burger joint this is not it.

Today I tried Carls Jr. for the first time. I have heard so much about this place on Whirlpool, and how amazing the burgers are, and that it is a lot better than McDonalds. Here is my verdict.

Carls Jr. isnt like Grilld. Its a more expensive version of McDonalds and Hungry Jacks. Unlike those two burger joints, Carls Jr. allows you to have bottomless soft drinks.

I read that the thick burgers are better than their grilled burgers, so thats what I tried. I tried the original thick burger, and requested a combo so I would have fries and a drink as well. The food was delivered quickly to my table. Both the burger and fries were cold. The food reminds me more of Hungry Jacks than McDonalds. Pretty much same thing except the food is cold. The bun tasted so strange, it was overly sweet.

Over all I wasnt a fan, and I wasnt that impressed. I definitely prefer McDonalds unfortunately. I am glad I tried it though.

Perhaps the quality will improve once the hype is gone. I just couldnt believe how busy they were, there was always a constant long line.

Newly opened fast food restaurant from the US, Carl Jr. Is located in Knox Ozone.

Spacious woodern interior and upbeat music with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are welcoming.

Premium quality ingredient there are choices from angus thick burgers, chargrilled beef burgers to chicken sandwiches.

Onion rings were cold, dry and chewy.
Hand cut chip were too salty.

Hand breaded chicken chicken blt comes with a seeded bun and was disappointing. Soggy bacon, mininal batter on the chicken.

The double original was okay. Chargrilled, compact and juicy

Although there are unlimited refills for drinks and burgers were big in size, it was expensive.
