Was excited to have Carls in Melbourne. Always had them overseas and usually had good experience with them. I tried their basic chicken burger which is basically just deep fried chicken filling with lettuce and mayo. Size is bigger than other fast food, and eventhough it was quite simple, I was pretty happy with it! I read the reviews here and many people said the buns are too sweet. Well, its how I like it!! Onion rings are nice. Will definitely come back to try their other burgers.

Good size burger that comes with two patties, onion rings and bacon. The bacon was quite underwhelming as I couldn’t taste the presence of it, even tried just eating just the bacon still couldn’t taste it. My patties were unfortunately overdone so they were on the dry side, could just be my luck as my friend’s patty was fine. Crisscut fries were good but slightly greasy. Shake was average.
Overall, this visit was not the best representation as I had it in another country and they were really good burgers. Will try the thickburgers next time.
