This is the first time I’ve stepped in the knox maybe since a kid. Scouting all the eateries within the food court I chose Dumpling Rush as I sneak peeked a few families that seem to be having a feasting good time. The big pan fried pork and onion buns caught my eye. I also ordered the fried kway teow.
Portions is generous with sufficient ingredients. Flavour was spot on and not too oily. I had to wait for a fresh batch of the pan fried pork buns but that was alright. Not bad, the size are big but wasn’t as juicy as I expected.
I have been here a few times and it has been quite decent as a chinese place in the food court. The service is quick and efficient. I had the seafood noodle soup the last time I came and the soup was light but the noodles were too soft so it broke easily when i picked them up with chopsticks. Though, not stingy with ingredients and it was filling so 3.5/5.
Would visit again when I go to Westfield Knox.
I rated this 4 just coz I believe they have the best dumplings. The chicken inside is so flavoursome unlike the tasteless ones which we get typically. And their sauce is just something you don’t wanna miss. Try it, if you like dumplings then you will definitely like this.
Ever seen ‘those in the know’ tucking into a hearty bowl of goodness at a food court whilst deciding which dodgey burger you’ll go for? Next time, don’t burger up your quick fix, work out where the bowl came from and give it a go. Yeah it will cost 50% more than a grease-filled bread roll and you’ll have to wait a few extra minutes, but there’s a better than average chance you won’t regret the choice. I went for the seafood Tom Yum noodle soup. Might have taken around 10 mins, but definitely worth the wait. Generous portion, quality ingredients, great heat (both types, so beware). Life’s too short to be making it shorter with poor food choices, do a Molly and ‘do yourself a favour’. Who knew a food court offering could tick so many boxes?
