It’s been a long time since I went out for dinner. I was looking for a big feed and Miss Pickle did not disappoint. We had the platter for 2 with additional pork skewers and a side of halloumi fries.
Friendly service was welcome. We were seated right next to the charcoal grill… Very hot there, but I got a good look at a busy kitchen which I always enjoy.
Our order didn’t take long. All the meat was quite moist and the chips were really done well. Loved the falafel and the halloumi.
It would be better if the Greek salad was a REAL Greek salad. Alas, like everywhere it is the Aussie variety, but at least it had a good amount of fetta, albeit crumbled.
All that, I can live with but the extremely uncomfortable seats and wobbly tables are a right pain in the proverbial… Maybe this is a strategy for upping the nightly covers.
Anyway, I’ll be back for a meatfest when they fix the furniture.

The staff were also super friendly! Will definitely return another time!
