I am extremely baffled by the quality and integrity of this establishment. In what way was it a good idea to serve and re-fry old chips that were sitting on the counter top already half eaten were from the fish and chip shop next door?!? That is a joke and a disgrace! (the chips did don’t look like ones in the picture) to think the paying customers were stupid is appealing.
Another negative, in what world is sweet chilli sauce onion relish? Ohhh myyyy goodness.
Positive, the bun was nice.
This place is a joke and I hope it closes down. That spot is cursed and will never blossom even if Gordon Ramsay revamped the place.
The Caffeine Shot is a tiny cafe on Mountain Highway. It looks like your typical everyday cafe, and is a place we would usually overlook. However, inside the have the most mouthwatering burgers and milkshakes! A hidden gem in the Eastern suburbs. The staff are super friendly, laid back and very accommodating. The burgers are amazing, the best burgers we have had to date! Perfectly cooked and presented, fresh ingredients and perfect portion- no burgercoma. The Caffeine Shot also have the miraculous Melbourne milkshakes with sweets and desserts galore piled on top!
TIP: Do order a milkshake- you won’t regret it! Don’t forget to order an LJ with Onion rings- the best burger ever.
A small cafe with an old school, muscle car on the walls vibe. 8 types of burgers to pick from as well as some take away style eats. It’s located on a busy street but it’s beside a fish and chip takeaway. Ordered the LJ burger (beef patty, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce) with a side of onion rings as well as the GTR burger (chicken breast, bacon, caramalised onion, tomato, lettuce) and a choice of sauce. The burgers come with a soft bun which is good and bad as the filling is juicy so the bun got soggy. Onion rings are decent.
