First visit here last week, we had been out for a terrible meal the day before so I was really craving great food and it didn’t disappoint! We had the chef selection, all the food was beautiful, the flavours were fabulous, the wines complimented the food. Not quite what I was expecting but I really liked the relaxed, family feel to the place. Really couldn’t fault any of it, I was starting to get hangry between courses but hadn’t eaten that day (we got there at 2pm), so not their fault!Really well put together place, great menu and lovely wines.
Decent food, adequate atmosphere, not a whole lot I can compliment and not so much I can complain about either. There isn’t much in Warragul but admittedly this is probably the pick of the bunch.
Fantastic place. Fantastic service. Highly recommend this as a restaurant for lunch. We went here and unlike other places around Warragul you can actually hear the people you are talking too. Food was delicious. We went for the set menu which was superb.
Being a loyal local I’ve overlooked poor service here in the past because the food is always very good. I’ve been going to Wild Dog for over 10 years and have recommended it to many. Having been there a couple of weeks ago and tasting their terrific quinoa salad, I was keen to have it again and so we went there at about 12.30 for lunch w/out a booking. There was a medium crowd there when we arrived but none of the tables on the top bit of the deck were taken. I have a disability and it is quite an effort to walk with a frame from the car to that area. I stood uncomfortably while my partner checked we could sit outside. The wait staff said we couldn’t stay because we didn’t have a booking.
