An absolute mystery! Great decor and price. Pizza base was simply aweful – McCain you’ve done it again! I didn’t even know you could stuff up wood fired base. Pics here on Zomato where from??!! What a shame. The calzone was hard and 10% cheese. Also a mystery as when I queried was assured that it was mozarela. No no. Shame.

New management fantastic! Wood fired pizza fantastic and gnocchi handmade with a beautiful slow cooked sauce. Good place to take the whole family and we loved sitting out on the deck.Returned back for 2nd visit 2nite, sorry to say not us to previous standard. The pizza bases tasted like cardboard and the meat was dry. We were not asked if we wanted to order any beverages either.
Previous visits to Bocca have been great. Under new management the menu has been dumbed down and the pizzas we had were topped with very cheap and tasteless toppings and poorly assembled. Given the number the number of pizza options in Warrandyte they will need to lift their game.
