Service was prompt and the dishes were delivered hot. The meat was high quality. Unfortunately, the beef vindaloo only had 10 pieces of meat and was so hot to be almost inedible (and I’m a chilli lover), the chicken dish, pudina was also light on meat and lacked the flavour of the fresh herbs promised by the menu. It was also a cream based dish, which was unspecified on the menu. The biryani was lacklustre generally and seemed to miss the mint. Finally, it was impossible to contact the restaurant by phone, an online order was the only option provided. At $60, we were disappointed with our experience.
The food at this restaurant is quite nice, however i have found the service at this restaurant to be poor as the staff avoided serving as despite being the only customers there. There was also hairs in my food which the owner did not apologise for.
Food here was delicious and I would definitely return! We got the family value pack and it was more than enough for 4 people. Chicken tikka was a bit dry but otherwise everything was great
First and last time I will go to this place . The sound of a microwave was the only hum i heard coming from the kitchen . Dirty plates also. Service was the only thing going for it.
Came here for a birthday and while I love Indian food I can’t say it was anything special. The tandoori chicken was fantastic but the butter chicken fairly bland. Garlic naan slightly crispy but not dry. Malai kofta had a good depth of flavour (and $12.50 my is it cheap to be a vegetarian around here) but overall there was no ambience and if it’s a hole in the wall I want exceptional food. Plenty of superior Indian restaurants nearby
First and last time to order from this restaurant tonight. OMG it was so bad. They don’t know how to cook vegetarian . The eggplant medium curry was bland pureed eggplant and so mild it was like a dip. The paneer Makhani had 6 pieces of cheese in a watery mild bland sauce. The dhal was inedible, the taste was horrid. No one could eat it. The rice and bread the only thing we could tolerate. We ordered the platter of mixed entrees which were all supposed to be vegetarian and what came was chicken tikka, a piece of chewy spiced steak, a samosa, and onion bhajia. And it cost over $60. What a waste, I hate spending lots of money on food you can’t eat never mind enjoy. Never go back and advise others not to go there. Seriously Indian Affair you need to smarten your cooking up.
Best indian I’ve ever tasted and I’ve been to a few places and now I’d never go anywhere else! Butter chicken is A+, would highly recommend!
